Leeds City Varieties welcomes Gok Wan

Most people have heard of Gok Wan – he’s a household name, after all! Brought up in Leicester, Gok Wan rose to fame with his blunt and loveable fashion advice. Come on, let’s say it altogether, “It’s all about the confidence!”

In what’s promised to be an honest, campest and naked stage show, we expect to see Gok Wan share stories of his life and let us all know the real man behind those sparkling eyes shining through thick rimmed glasses.

Who knows what this show will really entail. It’s not billed as a stand-up show, so I’m half expecting an autobiographical talk more than anything. However, Gok Wan is absolutely incredible and brings lovable humour to everything I’ve seen him in. One thing’s certain in my mind – it’s going to be a fab show.
