Leeds-based Northern Opera Group have announced two new productions which will be happening in 2016.
To celebrate this year’s ‘Shakespeare 400’ anniversary, the group will be performing an operatic version of Much Ado About Nothing by Charles Villiers Stanford. This entertaining opera will be directed by Eleanor Taylor and conducted by Christopher Pelly.
The performance will be held at Left Bank Leeds on Thursday 4th August at 7.30pm. Audiences will be able to enjoy a picnic and Pimms prior to the performance, too!
Tickets are just £10 and are available from www.northernoperagroup.co.uk.
The group is also making plans for the Christmas production of Cinderella, happening at Duke Studios Leeds, 8pm on 1 – 3 December 2016.
The production will feature a community cast, open for all to join, and tickets will cost just £7 for adults and £5 for concessions. Visit the Northern Opera Group website for more information!
