The State of the Arts is pleased to announce that we have launched a podcast. Over the course of the series, entitled Passages, Christy Cooney will be talking to writers and other public figures about passages of text of their choice, be they excerpts of prose, or poems, or historical speeches, or whatever.
In this first episode, he talks to Guardian columnist Rafael Behr about Wilfred Owen’s ‘The Parable of the Old Man and the Young’, which explores the theme of political vanity as a catalyst for the First World War.
You can listen to every instalment of Passages on Soundcloud, Youtube, and iTunes.
