If you like The Kinks, and you love the theatre, then you’ll be delighted to know that Sunny Afternoon is rocking its way to Yorkshire, running at Bradford Alhambra from 28 Feb – 04 Mar 2017.
Sonia Friedman Productions and Ambassador Theatre Group present the national tour of the multi-award winning hit West End musical, which stars a range of talented actors such as Ryan O’Donnell as ‘Ray Davies’, Mark Newnham as ‘Dave Davies’, Garmon Rhys as bassist ‘Pete Quaife’ and Andrew Gallo as drummer ‘Mick Avory’.
Featuring some of The Kinks’ best-loved songs, including You Really Got Me, Waterloo Sunset and Lola, Sunny Afternoon tells the story of the early life of Ray Davies and the rise to stardom of The Kinks. Sit back and enjoy music from Britain’s most iconic bands. The original story is written by Ray Davies himself, so it really isn’t a show to be missed!
