If you think Leeds City Varieties is a comedy-only zone, you’re very wrong. The Young ‘Uns comes to Leeds this October to tour their album, Strangers. A firm favourite of the English folk scene, expect to hear exceptional musical talent with a hint of humour.

Having been awarded the ‘Best Group’ accolade at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award in 2015 and 2016, it’s fair to say going along to this show is going to be a safe bet for a great evening out. Even if folk music isn’t your thing, this fresh band looks set to put a unique twist on the genre to appeal to a wide range of music lovers.
